Build a chart using the Beta Occupational Hazards Dataset

Create your own charts using the Beta Occupational Hazards Dataset (BOHD).

Build your own charts to compare different hazards and occupations from the Beta Occupational Hazards Dataset (BOHD).

The Beta Occupational Hazards Dataset is an experimental dataset and should be interpreted with caution. We welcome your feedback on this work.

To get started, select “Compare occupations” or “Compare hazards” using the buttons on the next hand side, then use the slicers to build your chart.

‘Compare occupations’ shows the exposure score for each occupation for the selected hazard. Examine different hazards using the slicer. Hover over a bar on the chart for more information on how to interpret the exposure score. Drill down into more specific occupations by right clicking a bar on the chart or using the down arrow icon at the top of the chart.

‘Compare hazards’ shows the median exposure score for each hazard for the occupation or group of occupations selected. Select the occupation(s) of interest using the slicer on the right. Use the ‘Select another measure’ button at the bottom to choose another metric to compare (e.g., median exposure score, median exposure score of selected occupation(s) against all occupations, number of employed people, percentage of employed people).
