The Agency’s public data is accessible on this website under an international Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence, consistent with the Safe Work Australia Copyright policy. Under this licence, you must give appropriate credit (attribution) when you adapt, redistribute or copy our data. Safe Work Australia is committed to making its data publicly accessible consistently with its Evidence function under the Safe Work Australia Act 2008. This is in line with the Australian Government Public Data Policy and the Data Availability and Transparency Act 2022. We make our data publicly accessible on our website if it meets the following principles: there are no legal restrictions on access to the data it does not contain Safe Work Australia’s internal administrative data, or any personal information it cannot reasonably be used to deduce an individual’s identity a risk assessment has been conducted according to Safe Work Australia’s internal processes, consistent with the Data Availability and Transparency Act 2022. To access some types of data, you may also be required to obtain ethics approval for your project.
