This dashboard has been updated to include the latest publicly available WHS prosecutions data from 2023. Future updates to the WHS prosecutions data dashboard will be released annually.

Provides national information on criminal prosecutions for breaching WHS laws or regulations since 1 January 2020. The data includes details of cases, sentencing and incidents and is compiled from public reports of WHS prosecutions on available jurisdictions’ websites.

You can change the data in the dashboard by:

•    using the drop-down menu to select the years displayed
•    clicking on the data inside the charts to cross filter other charts on the page.

For scope and limitations of this data, see the WHS Prosecutions Data Dictionary. Data does not include cases involving negligence, tort or criminal law.

Note: Any counts < 5 have been suppressed, but are generally included in totals.
